Okanagan RV Parts ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), operating NewRVParts.com and NewRVParts.ca (collectively, the "Site"), supplies new RV parts, accessories, appliances, components, and related products.

Due to the nature of RV parts, including compatibility differences, installation requirements, shipping logistics, manufacturer warranty processes, and industry-standard return practices, the following Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the Site unless otherwise required by applicable law.

By placing an order through the Site, you ("Customer" or "Buyer") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Return & Refund Policy together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and Legal Notice.

The Site may provide AI-powered or automated customer-assistance features designed to help customers locate products and obtain general information. AI-generated product recommendations or compatibility information do not constitute a guarantee of fitment or compatibility and do not, by themselves, modify the return conditions contained in this Policy.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any statutory right or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

1. Final Sale Categories – Non-Returnable Items

The following products are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for voluntary return, refund, or exchange, except where required by applicable law:

• Special order products

• Out-of-stock items specially obtained for a customer

• Obsolete or discontinued parts

• Custom-made or custom-requested products

• Batteries

• Chemicals, adhesives, sealants, lubricants, sprays, and aerosol products

• Generators

All purchases within these categories are final once an order has been accepted and payment has been successfully processed.

Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility before placing an order, including independently verifying product recommendations or compatibility information provided through AI-powered, automated, search, or customer-support features.

A final-sale product does not become eligible for voluntary return solely because it was identified, suggested, cross-referenced, or recommended through an AI-powered or automated feature.

2. Electronic Components – Final Sale

Electronic components, including circuit boards, control boards, electronic modules, sensors, igniters, displays, and similar electrical components, are FINAL SALE.

These items:

• Are final sale and are not eligible for voluntary return or refund.

• Must be diagnosed and handled through the applicable manufacturer warranty process where appropriate.

• Cannot be accepted for return once shipped, except where required by applicable law.

Important

Due to the high rate of damage resulting from improper installation, incorrect diagnosis, electrical damage, and part swapping, electronic components may be inspected, tested, documented, or serialized before shipment.

Customers must independently confirm the correct electronic component before ordering. An AI-generated or automated product recommendation does not constitute a guarantee of diagnosis, compatibility, fitment, or suitability and does not make an otherwise final-sale electronic component eligible for voluntary return.

Where diagnosis or compatibility is uncertain, customers should consult applicable manufacturer documentation and/or a qualified RV technician before ordering.

3. Returns for Eligible Products

We accept returns on eligible new, unused products subject to the following conditions.

Return Requirements

To qualify for a return:

• A return request must be submitted within 30 days of confirmed delivery.

• The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in resalable condition.

• All original packaging, manuals, accessories, labels, and components must be included.

• The returned item must pass inspection upon receipt.

• Return authorization must be obtained before the product is shipped back.

Failure to satisfy these requirements may result in the return being refused or a reduced refund where permitted by applicable law.

Restocking Fees & Return Conditions

These return conditions reflect standard practices throughout the RV parts and specialty components industry, where many products cannot be resold once installed, handled, or removed from their original packaging.

The following conditions apply to eligible returns:

• Minimum 20% restocking fee.

• Return shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer.

• Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.

• Signature confirmation fees are non-refundable where applicable.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within approximately 7 business days after the returned product has been received, inspected, and approved.

Products Purchased Following an AI Recommendation

If an otherwise return-eligible product was purchased after being identified, suggested, cross-referenced, or recommended by an AI-powered chatbot or other automated feature, the ordinary return requirements in this Policy continue to apply.

An AI recommendation does not, by itself:

• Waive the applicable restocking fee.

• Make original outbound shipping refundable.

• Make Okanagan RV Parts responsible for return shipping.

• Extend the applicable return period.

• Allow an installed or used product to be voluntarily returned.

• Make a final-sale product returnable.

• Create reimbursement rights for installation, removal, diagnostic, labour, travel, or other related expenses.

• Constitute a guarantee of compatibility or fitment.

Accordingly, if a customer determines before installation that an eligible product is unsuitable or incompatible, the customer should not install, wire, connect, modify, alter, or otherwise use the product. The customer should keep the product and all original packaging in resalable condition and contact us promptly to determine whether it qualifies for return.

Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy available under applicable law.

Non-Returnable Products

The following products are not eligible for voluntary return or refund:

• Installed products

• Products damaged after delivery

• Products altered, modified, wired, or otherwise changed

• Products missing original components

• Products returned without original packaging where resale is no longer possible

• Products otherwise designated as final sale under this Policy

Orders confirmed as delivered by the carrier—including tracking confirmation, delivery scan, proof of delivery, delivery photograph, GPS confirmation, or signature confirmation (where applicable)—are considered fulfilled orders.

4. AI-Powered Product Recommendations & Compatibility Information

The Site may provide an AI-powered chatbot, virtual assistant, automated customer-support feature, compatibility tool, product recommendation system, search feature, or similar technology designed to help customers locate potentially relevant products and obtain general information.

AI-powered or automated systems may provide information concerning:

• Product identification

• Product recommendations

• Compatibility or fitment

• Manufacturer part numbers

• Replacement or superseded part numbers

• Product specifications

• Dimensions

• Features

• Installation

• Troubleshooting

• Product availability

• Pricing

• Shipping

• Returns

• Warranty information

• Other product or customer-service information

Artificial-intelligence systems generate responses algorithmically. Although these features are intended to be helpful, AI-generated information may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misunderstood, or otherwise incorrect.

An AI-powered feature may, among other things:

• Misidentify a product.

• Recommend an incompatible product.

• Provide an incorrect manufacturer part number.

• Incorrectly identify a superseded or replacement part number.

• Misinterpret a model or serial number.

• Provide inaccurate specifications or dimensions.

• Omit an important compatibility restriction.

• Misinterpret information provided by the customer.

• Provide information that is not applicable to a particular RV, appliance, system, production revision, or installation configuration.

AI-generated product recommendations are provided for general informational and customer-assistance purposes and are not guarantees of compatibility, fitment, suitability, specifications, or performance.

5. Customer Responsibility for Compatibility

RV parts frequently vary based on factors including:

• Manufacturer

• Exact manufacturer part number

• Model

• Serial number

• Production year

• Production date

• Production revision

• Dimensions

• Electrical specifications

• Propane or fuel requirements

• Plumbing connections

• Ventilation requirements

• Mounting configuration

• Existing equipment

• Previous modifications

• Installation configuration

Before purchasing a product, the Buyer is responsible for independently confirming that the product is appropriate for the intended application.

This responsibility applies whether the product was:

• Located directly by the customer.

• Found through Site search.

• Suggested through an AI-powered chatbot.

• Recommended by an automated feature.

• Identified through a compatibility or cross-reference tool.

• Discussed through a customer-support feature.

Customers should confirm, as applicable:

• Manufacturer part number.

• Exact model number.

• Serial number.

• Dimensions.

• Technical specifications.

• Manufacturer replacement or supersession information.

• Installation requirements.

• Compatibility with the customer's particular RV, appliance, equipment, or system.

A product recommendation, compatibility statement, product identification, cross-reference, or replacement suggestion generated by an AI-powered or automated feature does not constitute a guarantee that the product will fit, function with, replace, or otherwise be compatible with the customer's particular application.

Where compatibility or diagnosis cannot be established with reasonable certainty, customers should consult applicable manufacturer documentation and/or a qualified RV technician before ordering.

6. AI Responses Do Not Modify This Policy

AI-powered and automated customer-support features may provide information concerning returns, refunds, compatibility, shipping, warranties, restocking fees, final-sale restrictions, or other policies.

An AI-generated statement does not amend, waive, replace, or override this Return & Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, Legal Notice, product-specific restrictions, or applicable manufacturer requirements.

If an AI-generated response conflicts with the current version of this Policy, the published Policy controls, subject to applicable law.

An AI-generated statement should not be interpreted as:

• Authorization of a return.

• Approval of a refund.

• Waiver of a restocking fee.

• Agreement to reimburse shipping.

• Agreement to accept a final-sale product.

• Agreement to accept an installed product.

• A warranty of compatibility.

• A guarantee of fitment.

• An amendment to our published policies.

Return authorization must still be obtained through the applicable return process before any eligible product is shipped back.

7. Defective Products & Manufacturer Warranty

Okanagan RV Parts is not the manufacturer and does not independently provide manufacturer warranties on products unless expressly stated otherwise.

If a product is believed to be defective:

• Manufacturer warranty claims must generally be submitted directly to the manufacturer in accordance with their warranty procedures.

We are happy to assist by providing:

• Proof of purchase

• Original invoice documentation

• Available product information where appropriate

Okanagan RV Parts does not:

• Approve manufacturer warranty claims

• Determine manufacturer warranty eligibility

• Replace products under manufacturer warranty unless authorized by the manufacturer or applicable supplier

• Accept returns solely because a manufacturer warranty claim exists

An AI-generated troubleshooting response, diagnosis, warranty statement, or recommendation does not constitute a determination that a product is defective or covered by a manufacturer warranty.

Manufacturer warranty eligibility and remedies remain subject to the applicable manufacturer's terms and procedures.

8. Installed Products

Any product that has been installed, modified, altered, wired, connected, or otherwise placed into service is not eligible for voluntary return or refund, except where required by applicable law.

This restriction applies even if, after installation, the customer determines that the product:

• Is incompatible.

• Does not fit the intended application.

• Was incorrectly diagnosed as the required replacement.

• Was selected based on incomplete compatibility information.

• Was suggested or recommended by an AI-powered or automated feature.

Installation of a product does not automatically establish that the product was defective before installation.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are compatible with their application and are installed correctly. Where professional installation, diagnosis, electrical work, propane work, or other specialized work is appropriate, customers should use a qualified technician.

If there is uncertainty about compatibility, customers should resolve that uncertainty before installing, connecting, wiring, modifying, or otherwise placing the product into service.

9. Shipping, Delivery & Risk

Shipping practices are governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of this Return & Refund Policy.

Delivery estimates are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

The Buyer is responsible for:

• Providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including apartment, suite, unit, lot number, business name, gate codes, or any other information necessary for successful delivery.

• Monitoring shipment tracking.

• Ensuring the delivery location is secure and accessible.

• Being available for signature-required or scheduled freight deliveries where applicable.

Okanagan RV Parts may require signature confirmation at its discretion, particularly for higher-value or higher-risk shipments.

Risk of loss passes to the Buyer in accordance with applicable law and the applicable carrier's terms where legally permitted.

Carrier tracking records, delivery scans, proof of delivery, delivery photographs, GPS confirmation, and signature confirmation (where applicable) may be relied upon as evidence of delivery and fulfillment.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Okanagan RV Parts is not responsible for:

• Carrier delays

• Severe weather delays

• Customs delays

• Delivery access issues

• Failed delivery attempts caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information

• Theft occurring after confirmed delivery

• Porch piracy

Claims involving shipping damage or loss may need to be handled through the applicable carrier, supplier, manufacturer, or insurer depending on who controls the shipment and applicable shipping arrangements.

We will provide reasonable assistance with documentation where appropriate.

10. Shipping Damage & Claims

All shipments are packaged using commercially reasonable packaging methods appropriate for the products being shipped.

Upon delivery, Buyers should:

• Inspect all packages immediately.

• Note visible damage with the carrier before accepting delivery where possible.

• Report shipping damage within 5 business days of delivery.

For shipping damage claims, we may request:

• Photographs of the damaged product

• Photographs of all packaging

• Shipping labels

• Delivery documentation

• Any additional information reasonably required by the carrier or supplier

Customers should retain the product and all original packaging while a shipping damage claim is being reviewed unless instructed otherwise.

Customers should not install, modify, alter, wire, connect, or otherwise use a product that is believed to have been damaged in transit while a damage claim is pending, unless specifically instructed otherwise. Doing so may affect the ability of the carrier, supplier, manufacturer, or insurer to investigate or approve the claim.

Claims may need to be submitted through the applicable carrier, supplier, manufacturer, or insurer depending on the shipping arrangement.

Okanagan RV Parts will reasonably assist customers throughout the claims process but cannot guarantee claim approval or claim outcomes.

11. Undeliverable, Refused & Returned Shipments

The Buyer is responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

If a shipment is returned to Okanagan RV Parts or our supplier due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

• Incorrect or incomplete shipping address

• Unclaimed shipment

• Refused delivery

• Mid-transit cancellation

• Failure to accept a signature-required delivery

• Failure to arrange freight delivery where required

• Carrier unable to access the delivery location

• Any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control

The following conditions apply:

• A minimum 15% restocking fee may apply, or any greater fee otherwise specified in this Policy.

• Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.

• Return shipping charges incurred by Okanagan RV Parts or our supplier are the responsibility of the Buyer.

• Signature confirmation fees are non-refundable where applicable.

• Refunds will not be processed until the returned shipment has been received and inspected by Okanagan RV Parts or our supplier where applicable.

• If the Buyer requests re-shipment, all additional shipping charges must be paid in full before the replacement shipment is released.

• Orders returned because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery will be treated as refused shipments under this Policy.

For international or cross-border shipments, the Buyer is solely responsible for any applicable:

• Customs duties

• Import taxes

• Brokerage fees

• Other government charges or import costs

Failure to pay applicable import charges may result in:

To help protect our customers and business, all orders are subject to payment authorization, fraud screening, and risk assessment.

Okanagan RV Parts reserves the right to:

• Require signature confirmation for higher-risk shipments.

• Delay shipment while additional verification is completed where reasonably necessary.

Orders reasonably suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment activity, abusive reshipping practices, or deliberate misuse of our policies may be cancelled.

14. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact us first if they believe there is an issue with their order so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.

• Proof of delivery

• Carrier tracking records

• Delivery photographs

• GPS confirmation

• Signature confirmation where applicable

• Order confirmations

• Customer communications

• Relevant chatbot or automated-support communications where applicable

• Applicable policies

• Return records

• Product documentation

Carrier tracking records, proof of delivery, delivery photographs, GPS confirmation, and signature confirmation (where applicable) may be relied upon as evidence of delivery and fulfillment.

Nothing in this section limits any rights available under applicable payment network rules, consumer protection legislation, or other applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Okanagan RV Parts' liability is limited to the purchase price of the applicable product.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Okanagan RV Parts is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from reliance on inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or otherwise incorrect AI-generated or automated information.

Okanagan RV Parts is not responsible, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for:

• Installation or labour costs

• Damage to property

• Loss of income

• Downtime

• Travel expenses

• Removal or reinstallation costs

• Diagnostic expenses

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts, or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Okanagan RV Parts from third-party claims arising from:

• Improper installation

• Product misuse

• Unauthorized modification

• Unlawful use of products

• Negligent handling

• Third-party damages caused by the Buyer's conduct

This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify Okanagan RV Parts for liabilities that cannot lawfully be transferred.

• Accepted the shipping and delivery provisions.
