Okanagan RV Parts ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates NewRVParts.com and NewRVParts.ca (collectively, the "Site") and ships new RV parts, accessories, appliances, components, and related products throughout Canada and the United States.

This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed through the Site are processed, fulfilled, shipped, delivered, and handled after shipment.

By placing an order through the Site, you ("Customer" or "Buyer") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Shipping Policy together with our Terms of Service, Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Legal Notice, all of which form part of the agreement between you and Okanagan RV Parts.

The Site may provide AI-powered or automated customer-assistance features that can provide general information concerning shipping, delivery, inventory, products, or other matters. AI-generated or automated information is provided for convenience and does not constitute a guaranteed shipping commitment or override this Shipping Policy.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any statutory right or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

1. Product Image Disclaimer

Product images are provided for reference purposes only.

Images displayed on the Site may include:

  • Manufacturer-supplied images

  • Stock photographs

  • Representative examples

  • Original photographs taken by Okanagan RV Parts

Actual products may differ in:

  • Appearance

  • Colour

2. Estimated Delivery Times (Non-Guaranteed)

Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed.

Typical estimated transit times:

  • Canada: 2–7 business days

  • United States: 2–7 business days

Delivery times may vary due to circumstances including:

  • Carrier delays

  • Severe weather

  • Wildfires

  • Flooding

  • Remote or rural delivery locations

  • Customs processing

  • High shipping volumes

  • Labour disruptions

  • Supplier processing or warehouse delays

  • Other events beyond our reasonable control

Carrier delays, customs processing, weather events, supplier delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control do not, by themselves, entitle a Buyer to a refund, shipping credit, or cancellation unless otherwise required by applicable law.

AI-Generated Delivery Information

An AI-powered chatbot or automated customer-support feature may provide general information concerning expected shipping or delivery times.

Any shipping or delivery estimate provided by an AI-powered or automated feature is informational only and is not a guaranteed delivery date or contractual shipping commitment.

AI-generated information may not account for:

  • Current supplier processing times

  • Current warehouse availability

  • Carrier delays

  • Freight scheduling

  • Remote-area service

  • Weather

  • Customs processing

  • Weekends or holidays

  • Current tracking events

  • Other circumstances affecting a particular shipment

Where an AI-generated response conflicts with this Shipping Policy, current carrier tracking, or an order-specific communication from Okanagan RV Parts, the applicable published Policy and current order-specific information control, subject to applicable law.

Carrier Delays & Force Majeure

Okanagan RV Parts is not responsible for delays or failures in shipment caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Wildfires

  • Floods

  • Severe weather

  • Labour disputes

  • Carrier interruptions

  • Customs delays

  • Government actions

  • Pandemics

  • Utility outages

  • Internet or telecommunications failures

  • Cybersecurity incidents

  • Supplier or warehouse interruptions beyond our reasonable control

  • Any other event beyond our reasonable control

Where these events occur, shipping estimates will be extended for the duration of the event where reasonably necessary.

3. Order Processing & Fulfillment

Orders are processed after successful payment authorization and fraud screening.

Most products sold through the Site are fulfilled directly through our authorized supplier network and may not physically pass through an Okanagan RV Parts facility.

Once your order has shipped, tracking information will be provided where available.

Additional fulfillment information:

  • Orders may ship in multiple packages.

  • Products within the same order may ship separately.

  • Items may ship from different supplier warehouses located in Canada or the United States.

  • Different items within the same order may be delivered on different dates.

  • Partial shipments do not constitute incomplete fulfillment.

  • Carrier and tracking information may not become available immediately after an order is released for shipment.

Whenever reasonably possible, products are fulfilled from an available supplier warehouse appropriate for the delivery destination.

Where products become unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact the Buyer to discuss available options, including revised delivery estimates, substitutions where appropriate, or cancellation before shipment.

An AI-generated statement regarding which warehouse will fulfill an order, when an order will ship, or which carrier will be used is not guaranteed unless confirmed through current order-specific information.

4. Inventory & Automated Availability Information

Inventory displayed through the Site may be based on supplier inventory feeds, synchronization systems, warehouse information, or other third-party data.

AI-powered or automated customer-support features may use available Site or system information when responding to questions about product availability.

However:

  • Supplier inventory can change rapidly.

  • Inventory synchronization may be delayed.

  • A product may sell out between a customer inquiry and fulfillment.

  • Warehouse availability may change after checkout.

  • An AI-powered system may rely upon information that is incomplete or no longer current.

  • Displayed or AI-reported availability does not reserve inventory.

A statement by an AI-powered chatbot or automated system that a product is "in stock," "available," or expected to ship from a particular warehouse does not guarantee that inventory will remain available until supplier fulfillment has been completed.

If an item becomes unavailable before shipment, the provisions of this Shipping Policy concerning backorders and inventory availability will apply.

5. Risk of Loss & Shipment Responsibility

Risk of loss passes to the Buyer in accordance with applicable law and the applicable carrier's terms where legally permitted.

After shipment:

  • The carrier assumes responsibility for transportation.

  • The Buyer is responsible for monitoring shipment tracking.

  • The Buyer is responsible for ensuring a secure delivery location.

  • The Buyer is responsible for accepting deliveries where required.

Carrier tracking records, delivery scans, proof of delivery, delivery photographs, GPS confirmation, and signature confirmation where applicable may be relied upon as evidence of delivery and fulfillment.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Okanagan RV Parts is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Customs delays

  • Delivery access issues

  • Incorrect delivery information provided by the Buyer

  • Theft after confirmed delivery

  • Porch piracy

  • Failed delivery attempts caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information

Claims involving shipping damage or shipment loss may need to be handled through the applicable carrier, supplier, manufacturer, or insurer depending upon who controls the shipment and applicable shipping arrangements.

We will provide reasonable assistance with documentation where appropriate but cannot guarantee claim approval.

6. Signature Confirmation & Delivery Security

To help reduce the risk of lost or stolen shipments, Okanagan RV Parts may require signature confirmation at its discretion, particularly for higher-value or higher-risk orders.

Where signature confirmation is required:

  • The carrier may attempt delivery multiple times.

  • The Buyer is responsible for ensuring an authorized person is available to receive the shipment.

  • Shipments accepted and signed for at the delivery address may be treated as delivered.

Failure to accept a shipment requiring signature confirmation may result in:

  • Return shipping charges

  • Re-delivery charges

  • Applicable restocking fees

  • Additional shipping charges before re-shipment

7. Shipping Damage & Claims

All products are packaged using commercially reasonable packaging methods appropriate for the products being shipped.

Upon delivery, Buyers should:

  • Inspect all packages immediately.

  • Note visible shipping damage with the carrier before accepting delivery where possible.

  • Report shipping damage within 5 business days of delivery.

For shipping damage claims, we may request:

  • Photographs of the damaged product

  • Photographs of all packaging

  • Shipping labels

  • Delivery documentation

  • Order information

  • Additional information reasonably required by the carrier or supplier

Customers must retain the product and all original packaging while a shipping damage claim is being reviewed unless instructed otherwise.

A product believed to have been damaged during shipping should be kept unused and uninstalled while the claim is being reviewed. Customers should not install, wire, connect, modify, alter, repair, discard, or otherwise place the product into service unless specifically instructed to do so.

Installing, modifying, discarding, or otherwise altering a product or its packaging before the claim can be properly investigated may affect or prevent approval of the shipping-damage claim by the applicable carrier, supplier, manufacturer, or insurer.

Claims may need to be submitted through the applicable carrier, supplier, manufacturer, or insurer depending upon the shipping arrangement.

Okanagan RV Parts will reasonably assist customers throughout the claims process but cannot guarantee claim approval or claim outcomes.

8. Additional Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the information available at the time of purchase.

In certain circumstances, additional shipping charges may apply, including but not limited to:

  • Oversized or overweight shipments

  • Remote or rural delivery locations

  • Carrier surcharge adjustments

  • Address correction charges

  • Residential, limited-access, or specialized freight delivery requirements

  • Delivery locations requiring specialized freight services

  • Shipping calculation errors beyond our reasonable control

If additional shipping charges are required:

  • The Buyer will be contacted before shipment.

  • No additional charges will be processed without the Buyer's approval.

  • Orders will not ship until any required additional shipping charges have been accepted and paid.

If additional charges are declined, the affected order may be cancelled before shipment and any payment received for the affected order will be refunded in accordance with our applicable policies.

Any shipping amount or statement regarding additional shipping charges provided by an AI-powered or automated feature is informational only. The amount calculated at checkout may still require adjustment where one of the circumstances described above applies.

9. Supplier-Direct Shipping

Most products sold through the Site are shipped directly from our authorized supplier network.

Depending on inventory availability, products may ship from warehouses located in:

  • Canada

  • The United States

Whenever reasonably possible, products are shipped from an available supplier warehouse appropriate for the delivery destination.

Because products may be supplier-fulfilled:

  • Inventory may be held at third-party supplier warehouses.

  • Inventory availability may change before supplier fulfillment is completed.

  • Orders containing multiple products may be fulfilled from different warehouses.

  • Products within the same order may arrive separately.

  • Carrier selection may vary based on warehouse, destination, product size, weight, and shipping requirements.

  • Tracking information may be supplied by the applicable supplier or carrier after shipment processing.

Returns of eligible products:

  • Must comply with our Return & Refund Policy.

  • May be subject to applicable restocking fees.

  • Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Return shipping is generally the responsibility of the Buyer unless otherwise required by applicable law.

  • Must receive return authorization before being shipped back.

10. Backorders & Inventory Availability

Although inventory information is updated regularly, inventory discrepancies, synchronization delays, supplier availability changes, or automated-system discrepancies may occasionally occur.

Displaying a product as available on the Site does not guarantee that supplier inventory will remain available until fulfillment has been completed.

The same limitation applies to availability information provided through an AI-powered chatbot or other automated customer-support feature.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed:

  • The Buyer will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable.

  • An updated estimated delivery timeline will be provided where available.

  • Alternative products or substitutions may be discussed where appropriate.

  • The Buyer may choose to cancel the affected item or order before shipment for a full refund of the applicable amount.

Once a shipment has been released to the carrier, the applicable Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Terms of Service will apply.

11. Buyer Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to:

  • Provide complete and accurate shipping information.

  • Provide a physical delivery address where required by the applicable carrier or shipment.

  • Monitor shipment tracking.

  • Ensure the delivery location is accessible and secure.

  • Be available for signature-required or scheduled freight deliveries where applicable.

The Buyer is also responsible for:

  • Confirming product compatibility before purchase.

  • Confirming manufacturer part numbers and relevant model information where applicable.

  • Proper installation.

  • Safe operation and use of purchased products.

  • Reviewing all relevant product information before ordering.

  • Independently verifying critical compatibility information or product recommendations generated by AI-powered or automated features.

An AI-powered recommendation or compatibility statement does not constitute a guarantee that a product is appropriate for the Buyer's application.

Additional compatibility and AI-related terms are contained in our Terms of Service, Return & Refund Policy, and Legal Notice.

12. Shipping Costs & Non-Refundable Charges

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout based upon the destination, shipment size, carrier requirements, and applicable shipping method.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the following shipping-related charges are non-refundable once incurred:

  • Original outbound shipping charges

  • Return shipping charges

  • Re-delivery charges

  • Signature confirmation fees

  • Carrier surcharge adjustments already incurred

Where an approved return is accepted:

  • Original outbound shipping charges remain non-refundable.

  • Return shipping remains the responsibility of the Buyer unless otherwise stated.

These provisions also apply where an otherwise return-eligible product was purchased following an AI-generated or automated product recommendation. An AI recommendation does not, by itself, make original outbound shipping refundable or make Okanagan RV Parts responsible for return shipping.

Return eligibility and applicable fees remain governed by our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

13. Undeliverable, Refused & Returned Shipments

The Buyer is responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information, including apartment numbers, unit numbers, lot numbers, business names, gate codes, or other delivery instructions necessary for successful delivery.

If a shipment is returned to Okanagan RV Parts or our supplier due to circumstances including:

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information

  • Refused delivery

  • Unclaimed shipment

  • Failure to accept a signature-required shipment

  • Failure to arrange freight delivery where required

  • Carrier unable to access the delivery location

  • Any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control

The following conditions apply:

  • Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Return shipping charges incurred by Okanagan RV Parts or our supplier are the responsibility of the Buyer.

  • A minimum 15% restocking fee may apply, or any higher fee specified in our Return & Refund Policy.

  • Refunds will not be issued until the returned shipment has been received and inspected by the applicable supplier or Okanagan RV Parts where applicable.

  • If the Buyer requests re-shipment, all additional shipping charges must be paid in full before the replacement shipment is released.

  • Okanagan RV Parts reserves the right to refuse re-shipment until all outstanding shipping charges have been paid.

14. Canada & United States Shipping

We currently ship to Canada and the United States only.

Canadian Shipments

Orders fulfilled domestically within Canada are generally not subject to customs duties or tariffs.

Canadian orders are subject to applicable GST, HST, PST, or other taxes where required by law.

United States Shipments

Orders destined for the United States are generally fulfilled from available U.S. supplier inventory whenever reasonably possible.

Where an order is fulfilled domestically within the United States, customs duties or tariffs generally do not apply.

Applicable sales or use taxes may be collected where required by applicable law.

Cross-Border Shipments

Although we generally attempt to fulfill orders from supplier inventory within the destination country where reasonably possible, cross-border fulfillment may occasionally be necessary.

Where a shipment crosses an international border:

  • Customs requirements may apply.

  • Duties, tariffs, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other government charges may apply depending on the product, country of origin, destination, and applicable law.

  • Applicable import charges are the responsibility of the Buyer unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

Products may qualify for preferential or duty-free treatment under applicable trade agreements; however, Okanagan RV Parts does not guarantee that any particular shipment will be exempt from duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, taxes, or other import charges.

International Shipping Outside Canada & the United States

We do not currently ship outside Canada and the United States.

Refused Shipments Due to Duties or Import Charges

Where applicable duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or other import charges are refused by the Buyer:

  • The shipment may be returned at the Buyer's expense.

  • Applicable restocking fees may apply.

  • Additional shipping charges incurred may be deducted from any refund where permitted by applicable law.

15. AI-Powered Shipping & Customer-Service Information

The Site may provide an AI-powered chatbot, virtual assistant, automated customer-support feature, or similar technology that can answer general questions concerning:

  • Shipping

  • Delivery estimates

  • Product availability

  • Supplier fulfillment

  • Tracking

  • Carriers

  • Freight

  • Returns

  • Product compatibility

  • Other customer-service matters

Artificial-intelligence systems generate responses algorithmically. Although intended to be useful, AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misunderstood, or otherwise incorrect.

An AI-powered system may not have access to every current:

  • Carrier event

  • Tracking scan

  • Supplier inventory change

  • Warehouse processing update

  • Freight appointment

  • Shipping surcharge

  • Customs event

  • Order-specific exception

Accordingly, AI-generated shipping information is provided for general informational and customer-assistance purposes only.

An AI-generated response does not constitute:

  • A guaranteed shipping date.

  • A guaranteed delivery date.

  • A guaranteed transit time.

  • A guarantee of product availability.

  • A guarantee that a particular warehouse will fulfill the order.

  • A guarantee that a particular carrier will be used.

  • A waiver of an additional shipping charge.

  • A waiver of return shipping.

  • A promise that outbound shipping will be refunded.

  • An amendment to this Shipping Policy.

Where an AI-generated response conflicts with this Shipping Policy or current order-specific information provided through tracking, the applicable carrier, supplier, or Okanagan RV Parts, the current applicable information and published Policy control, subject to applicable law.

16. AI Responses Do Not Modify Store Policies

An AI-powered or automated feature may attempt to explain our policies or answer customer-service questions.

An AI-generated statement does not amend, waive, replace, or override this Shipping Policy, our Terms of Service, Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Legal Notice, or applicable product-specific terms.

An AI-generated statement should not be interpreted as authorization for:

  • Free or discounted shipping.

  • A shipping refund.

  • Cancellation after shipment.

  • Reimbursement of return shipping.

  • Waiver of an additional freight or remote-area charge.

  • Waiver of a restocking fee.

  • Re-shipment without applicable charges.

  • Any other exception to a published policy.

Any exception to a published policy must be expressly authorized by Okanagan RV Parts through an appropriate authorized communication, subject to applicable law.

17. Payment Authorization & Fraud Prevention

All orders are subject to payment authorization, fraud screening, and risk assessment before shipment.

Okanagan RV Parts reserves the right to:

  • Delay shipment while payment verification is completed.

  • Request identity or payment verification.

  • Cancel or refuse orders reasonably suspected of fraud.

  • Require signature confirmation for higher-risk shipments.

  • Decline transactions that cannot be satisfactorily verified.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Okanagan RV Parts' liability is limited to the purchase price of the applicable product.

Okanagan RV Parts is not responsible, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Carrier errors

  • Shipping interruptions

  • Loss or damage occurring during transportation where responsibility rests with the carrier

  • Installation or labour costs

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Indirect or consequential losses resulting from reliance upon inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated AI-generated shipping information

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts, or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

19. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Okanagan RV Parts from third-party claims arising from:

  • Improper installation

  • Product misuse

  • Unauthorized modification

  • Unlawful use of products

  • Negligent handling

  • Third-party damages caused by the Buyer's conduct

This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify Okanagan RV Parts for liabilities that cannot lawfully be transferred.

20. Agreement to This Shipping Policy

By placing an order through the Site, the Buyer acknowledges that they have:

  • Read this Shipping Policy.

  • Accepted this Shipping Policy.

  • Understood the applicable shipping procedures.

  • Understood that delivery estimates are not guaranteed.

  • Understood that AI-generated shipping, inventory, compatibility, and customer-service information may contain inaccuracies and does not override this Shipping Policy.

  • Accepted the shipping, delivery, and fulfillment provisions.

  • Agreed to these terms to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Governing Law

This Shipping Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or waives any statutory rights or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Any dispute relating to this Shipping Policy will be dealt with through the court, tribunal, regulator, payment process, or other forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.

22. Pre-Purchase Questions

Customers are encouraged to review all relevant product and shipping information before placing an order, including:

  • Shipping requirements

  • Product compatibility

  • Manufacturer part numbers

  • Freight delivery requirements
