Description
Trailer bounce and sway are moderated by progressive SumoSprings mounted above the leaf springs. This black helper pair is intended for suitable spring-over-axle trailers with a 5000- to 8000-pound GAWR.
Fitment and installation
For leaf springs mounted above the axle. Spring plates must be no wider than 4.25 inches, with 5.3 to 6.55 inches between the spring-plate top and frame bottom. Install with 1/4 to 1/2 inch of preload as directed. Supplied hardware allows gas or utility lines to be repositioned where needed. Assemble mounting brackets in the specified orientation; incorrect assembly can cause misalignment and void the warranty.
The helper-spring rating does not increase the vehicle manufacturer’s GVWR.
