Description
Replace breaker points inside the specified Prestolite distributor with a compact electronic Ignitor module. The conversion targets 4-cylinder Autolite/Prestolite IAD and MD distributor families that use a 12-volt negative-ground ignition system.
The electronic switching module fits beneath the distributor cap, eliminating regular point-gap adjustments. Confirm the stamped distributor model and the vehicle electrical polarity before installation.
