Documented furnace fitment

The documented application is the Atwood 8516-III and 8520-III furnace family, often written as the 8516-20-III series. The III series designation matters: a similar furnace model with a II, IV or other revision may require a different motor kit.

Kit and installation notes

This is a service motor kit, not merely a loose motor. Parts distributors describe 37359MC as a motor assembly supplied with installation and mounting components. Check the supplied kit contents against your existing hardware rather than assuming every bracket or fitting is interchangeable. Before ordering, match the complete furnace model and original motor/kit reference, and verify shaft, wiring and mounting arrangements. Furnace servicing should follow the manufacturer's instructions.
