The short-bed Silverado and Sierra have distinct folding-cover dimensions. Extang 88445 is the Solid Fold ALX chosen for the 5-foot-8-inch pickup box, not the two longer GM beds.
One-inch EnduraShield panels form a matte-black, weather-sealed top with a 600-pound evenly distributed rating. A rotary latch unlocks the cover from the rear, while tool-free front Jaw-Grip clamps simplify access to the full pickup bed. No sheet-metal drilling is specified.

Part 88450 serves the 6-foot-6-inch box and part 88455 the 8-foot box; neither should be substituted for 88445.
