Description
The main lens and beam-shaping optic are combined in the patent-pending molded TIR design of these SS3 Max pods. This arrangement limits glare and losses through a separate outer optical layer while directing amber fog illumination from the Osram Boost HX LEDs.
The square pods have black aluminum housings and polycarbonate lenses, with listed output of 7,920 lumens at 38.5 watts. The SS3 Max platform uses 20-watt emitters and is described as reaching up to 251,000 candela with illumination beyond a kilometer. Two Deutsch-style pigtails, bolt-on mounting brackets and hardware are included.
