The CURT S20 slider (16564) moves the fifth-wheel coupling point 12 inches rearward when additional turning clearance is needed in a compatible short-bed truck. Its 20,000-lb rating applies to the slider; the overall tow rating is set by the lowest-rated component.
Assembly and installation
- Auto-latching mechanism secures the slider in both travel directions, with an accessible lever for position changes.
- Ships as an assembled slider with mounting hardware. The hitch head and industry-standard base rails are sold separately.
- CURT lists compatibility with its Ram puck adapter 16022 and GM puck adapter 16023. Verify the truck's puck arrangement before purchasing.
- Black carbide powder-coated steel; safety tested to SAE J2638.
