Description
CURT 59496 is a weatherproof, powered trailer taillight converter that combines separate 3-wire vehicle stop and turn signals into a 2-wire trailer-lighting output. The converter draws power directly from the tow vehicle's battery. CURT specifies 6 amps for the tail-light circuit and 3 amps per stop/turn circuit, not a single 6-amp rating for every function. Protected circuits and a 4-way flat output support standard trailer lighting. The kit includes installation hardware, circuit test probe and CURT 55151 powered-wiring kit.
