Installation and thermostat requirements
ParkPAC is intended for a purpose-designed installation rather than an ordinary RV roof opening. Airxcel allows it to connect directly to floor ducts or to be positioned under or around a park trailer. The installation must maintain service access, ventilation, drainage, electrical protection and a suitable supporting surface.
Thermostat requirement: Airxcel specifies a compatible 24 VAC residential thermostat with a common (“C”) wire. Do not substitute a typical 12 VDC Coleman-Mach rooftop thermostat based on brand alone. Airxcel lists duct connector kit 6633-6151 separately; verify whether it is needed for the planned duct layout. The thermostat, ductwork and connector kit are not represented as included with this air conditioner.
What comes with this unit
One ParkPAC air-conditioning cabinet with the built-in mounting pad. It is a large non-parcel freight item; confirm unloading and delivery arrangements at checkout. The manufacturer's written limited-warranty terms and the installation manual govern service and coverage.
