A permanent radar-detector installation is cleaner when its power connection can be routed behind the trim rather than relying on a dashboard accessory plug. This Cobra hardwire lead is designed for connecting a compatible detector to the vehicle fuse block.
The approximately ten-foot lead arrives with a radar-detector plug at one end and clearly marked positive and negative bare wires at the other. Its built-in fuse and center-tip-positive connector follow Cobra's intended hardwire arrangement.
