Description
Choose Carefree R001165XL when the manufacturer's replacement-parts chart specifies the longer XL spring for a matching Summit XL slideout awning. Unlike the standard R001165 spring, this version is identified for relevant longer roller assemblies.
Exact part details
- Carefree manufacturer part number: R001165XL
- Series: Summit XL, where the original roller assembly calls for the XL spring
- Manufacturer size distinction: relevant XL configurations start at 192 inches; standard R001165 applies to the corresponding shorter assemblies
- Colour: black
- Part supplied: roller spring assembly; other roller and mounting parts sold separately
Important compatibility check
Do not substitute standard and XL springs solely by appearance. Match the original assembly length, exact spring designation and Carefree service diagram. Stored spring tension presents an injury hazard; use the manufacturer procedure or a qualified RV repair technician.
