Description
BackRack 92001 is an adapter for fitting certain BackRack headache-rack systems above tonneau covers on older pickup beds. The universal tonneau-cover adapter provides a two-inch rise where the manufacturer’s more common truck-specific adapters only raise the rack one inch.
This is a mounting adapter, not a complete cab guard or a tonneau cover. It is intended only for covers that fasten to the inside lip of the bed, leaving the top bed rails available for the BackRack assembly. Tonneau styles that occupy the top rail, including certain button-fastened and aluminium-frame designs, are not supported by this arrangement.

- Confirm the pickup bed, BackRack mounting hardware and tonneau cover together using the exact hardware application.
- The tonneau must mount to the inside lip of the bed; a top-rail mounting design can interfere.
- The maker calls for appropriate extended stake-pocket bolt hardware with raised assemblies. Do not assume every truck or cover works with this universal adapter.
