AMP Research 19-04763-92 is intended to restore a compatible PowerStep system’s plug-and-play electrical communication, rather than replace the running board itself. The module connects to the existing harness through a two-wire pigtail.
GM pickup step wiring differs from the Ram application even when both use an OBD-II connection. Identify the vehicle electronics and original AMP kit before selecting this exact part, especially if an earlier installation has been modified.
