Description
A MAP sensor reads absolute pressure, accounting for atmospheric pressure as well as engine manifold conditions. This brass 3.5-bar unit is rated to 50 PSIa and is intended for compatible engine-control or data-acquisition inputs.
The sensor’s 1/8-inch male NPT connection allows installation in the appropriate manifold or pressure-tap fitting. Its signal must be configured for the 50 PSIa scale rather than the 150 PSIg scale of a fuel-pressure gauge sensor.
