Groove versus standard clip-hole: CURT 21504 is a 5/8-inch zinc-plated steel hitch pin for a compatible 2-inch receiver. Its grooved end lets the included retainer clip engage from any angle, unlike the standard clip-hole CURT 21500. CURT 21505 is the packaged grooved counterpart. Verify the clip is engaged before towing; this pin does not lock with a key.
