Road Armor 5182R1B-TC Jeep JL Mid-Width Rear Bumper & Carrier

Reworking a Jeep Wrangler JL rear end for a larger spare calls for more than a cosmetic bumper skin. Road Armor 5182R1B-TC identifies the Stealth mid-width rear bumper together with the tire-carrier assembly, not merely the stand-alone tire-carrier accessory. The angular steel construction is designed around the Wrangler JL rear body and supports more involved trail-use hardware.

Road Armor documents substantial steel construction, reinforced internal brackets and precision-formed weldments for this part. Its manufacturer installation guide specifically distinguishes the bumper-and-carrier package from the carrier-only identifier 518RTC0B. The brand site lists applications within the 2018-2024 JL family; match the exact Jeep trim, tires, rear fenders and lighting configuration. Manufacturer product information is inconsistent about surface finish, so confirm current coating with the supplier before ordering.
