A raised GMC emblem and red contrast seams set this Plasticolor Deluxe steering cover apart from plain replacement wraps. Part 006708R01 has a cushioned, leather-like vinyl surface intended to improve grip and give a worn wheel a neater finish.
No steering-wheel disassembly is needed. Warm the cover if it feels stiff, then stretch it progressively around the rim. Because this is a size-based accessory rather than a GMC-specific steering-wheel part, check that the wheel measures approximately 14.5 to 15 inches across and that the cover cannot interfere with the controls.
