Description
Norcold 639509 is the factory-listed control service assembly for the Norcold Polar N7V and N8V refrigerator models. Norcold's N7/N8 Series Parts List (639735, dated August 20, 2024) identifies the assembly under the cabinet-front control area for these two V-series models.
Important model distinction
- N7V / N8V: Norcold control service assembly 639509
- N7X / N8X: the original parts list specifies a separate control service assembly, 639550
- N7LX / N8LX / applicable ice-maker models: the original parts list specifies another control service assembly, 639551
Verify before ordering
Read the full refrigerator model on its data plate and match the existing control arrangement and original service part. The 639509 assembly is not a universal front-control replacement for every Polar N7/N8 refrigerator. Kit contents, connector configuration and availability should be confirmed for the actual unit being serviced. Follow the refrigerator manufacturer's service instructions.
