Description
MOOG DS1464 is the front-left inner steering tie-rod component for the original-design steering linkage on eligible Dodge Ram heavy-duty pickups. Its greaseable socket and protected bearing are intended for smoother articulation and to help limit corrosion from road contaminants.

Selection and installation
The OE steering design changed during the 2008 model year, and some earlier trucks have since been retrofitted with the later upgraded linkage. DS1464 must not be used on the later second-design arrangement; inspect the existing drag link, steering-damper mount and production configuration before ordering.
