Description
Maxwell HRCFF612V is the 12-volt HRCFF6 horizontal rope-and-chain windlass, built for automatic anchoring with a helm-operated free-fall function. The anchor can be released by gravity, then retrieved by the electric drive when it is time to leave.
The HRCFF6 is the 6 mm metric short-link chain version—not the HRCFF7 that accommodates 7 mm chain. Maxwell specifies a 12 mm rope, 600-watt 12V motor, up to 410 kg (900 lb) maximum pull and 700 kg (1540 lb) static hold. These are different measures and should not be read as the boat's safe working load.
