Fits selected Mariner models only. Megaware SkegGuard protects an intact motor skeg and can repair or replace a broken one. Marine-grade 316 stainless steel has a reinforced 3mm lower wear plate against rocks, debris and ramp dragging. The close lower-unit fit avoids discernible drag or performance loss. A drain hole prevents standing water, corrosion and freezing. Self-locking hardware permits do-it-yourself installation in less than ten minutes, with as little as 2–3 inches of skeg remaining. The range offers models for Evinrude, Johnson, Honda, Mercury, Mariner, Nissan, OMC, Tohatsu, Suzuki, Volvo and Yamaha; these are range applications, not universal fitment. Megaware guarantees the SkegGuard for three years from purchase; retain the receipt as proof of purchase date.
