Description
The hard-anodized body mounts upside down with thick walls for off-road durability. Aluminum construction improves heat management around the hydraulic fluid.
Construction and application
- 2.5-inch extruded aluminum monotube body with 57-millimetre CNC billet aluminum piston and low-speed bleed ports.
- Type 2 hard-anodized body with 3–4-millimetre walls mounts upside down.
- 20-millimetre hardened steel rod with NOK seals; rear shocks in the range use a dirt shield.
- Inline billet aluminum floating piston with 200 psi nitrogen charge rather than remote reservoir.
- Aluminum is described as up to four times more efficient at managing heat than steel; monotube design improves direct cooling of the fluid.

Additional product details
A 57 mm CNC billet aluminum piston with low-speed bleed ports operates in the 2-1/2-inch extruded aluminum body. Mounted upside down, the body has 3–4 mm walls and Type 2 hard anodizing.
The hardened steel rod measures 20 mm and passes through NOK seals; rear versions also include a dirt shield. An inline billet aluminum floating piston uses a 200 PSI nitrogen charge instead of a remote reservoir.
