This compact analog tachometer measures gasoline-engine speed through a compatible ignition coil signal. Equus identifies 4-, 6- and 8-cylinder conventional gasoline engines rather than diesel engines.
The 2.5-inch black-faced gauge reaches 8,000 RPM and includes a pedestal mount and adjustable redline marker. The signal lead connects to the appropriate ignition coil terminal; confirm the vehicle electronics before installation.
