Description
Computer-designed internal passages and a powdered-metal impeller shape coolant flow through this short big-block water pump. Part 88500 operates with clockwise rotation, sends coolant in one direction, and balances delivery to the two sides of the block within 1 percent.
Edelbrock lists the new mechanical pump as high volume for street/racing use. Its satin silver aluminum construction is intended for compatible street rods, street machines, tow rigs and motorhomes where cooling is needed to prevent overheating.
