Description
Fuel can flow in either direction through this inline filter for carbureted engines below 300 horsepower. Part 8157 is specified for gasoline and supplied as a complete assembly.
A 40-micron sintered-bronze element can be cleaned or replaced. Its billet-aluminum housing resists shock and has black anodizing, a 3-inch body and 1-1/8-inch diameter. Both push-on connections are listed as 3/8 inch (-6 AN). The filter comes without hoses, gasket or mounting hardware. Estimated installation takes half an hour, and the manufacturer warranty is limited to 1 year.
