Description
With the 1405, choke control remains manual while a 600-CFM four-barrel design feeds a compatible gasoline engine. The Performer’s two-piece aluminum body has a satin finish and supplied gaskets, with rear-pivot floats and metering rods for tuning.
Selection depends on the engine, square-bore intake and linkage setup. A new inline fuel filter is required. The non-EGR carburetor is identified by Edelbrock as non-emissions equipment; verify permitted use. Do not use it with computer-controlled applications or E85/alcohol race fuel.
