Description
Driver-controlled axle locking is available at the dashboard with the four-pin 19977-010. This Dana 44 ELocker uses 30 splines and the specified 3.73 gear ratio, with a 1.31-inch journal.
With the switch off it behaves as an open differential; activating the switch electronically couples the internal differential gears to the case for 100 percent axle lock. Smooth engagement and selectable traction suit towing and demanding off-road or performance driving.
The unit is steel, with an installation-oriented wiring harness. No lubricant additives are required, and the design is specified as maintenance-free.
