Description
A joined shock-and-link skid shields vulnerable mounting points beneath the sixth-generation Bronco’s rear axle. DV8 SPBR-04 covers the rear shocks, lower shock bolts, lower links and their mounts, helping the axle slide off rocks encountered below it.
One-piece construction ties the two protected areas together for strength. The guards are 3.5 mm steel, finished in micro-texture black powder coat, and install by bolting on without drilling. Installation hardware is excluded.
Compatibility extends to most aftermarket shocks, most lift kits, and aftermarket links using Johnny Joints or Heim connections. Do not use with shocks whose piggyback reservoirs are locked at the bottom.
