Specific Kia EV9 applications receive a 2-inch receiver. Weight-carrying and weight-distributing limits both equal 5,000 pounds with 500 pounds at the tongue. Fishing-boat, popup, ATV and utility trailers must stay within those ratings.
Custom design
Welded square steel construction integrates with the vehicle and has a gloss black powder coat. CURT tests the custom design in Detroit using proposed SAE J684 protocols. Cutting is required without drilling, with 1.5 hours estimated for installation. It is non-marine and not for roll-pan use; no ball mount is included.
