Description
Crown Automotive J5457112 is a replacement rubber tailgate weatherstrip for the rear opening of compatible Jeep CJ bodies. It is a tailgate seal, not a complete hardtop or door-weatherstrip kit.
Verified Jeep fitment
- Jeep CJ-7, 1976-1986
- Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler, 1981-1985
Check the original tailgate channel and retaining clips before ordering. Exact clip quantities and installation time have not been independently confirmed for this packaged SKU, so neither is guaranteed here. Do not infer CJ-5 fitment from generic CJ descriptions. Some catalogs extend CJ-8 application dates through 1986; that year remains unconfirmed and is not included in this listing.
