Carefree 901017 Black Manual Awning Travel Lock with Rivet

Carefree 901017 is a black replacement travel/storage lock for compatible manual patio-awning arms. It helps keep an awning arm secured in its stored position and prevents rattling while travelling.

Manufacturer-listed applications

• Carefree Spirit and Spirit FX manual patio-awning hardware
• Carefree Fiesta and Simplicity manual patio awnings with matching arm construction
• Carefree BN3N4 and AN3N4 arm configurations listed for this storage-lock design
• Can replace the corresponding lock on either the front or rear arm

Kit contents and identification

• Exact manufacturer part number: 901017
• Colour: black; quantity: one storage-lock assembly
• Includes the rivet needed for replacement
• White alternative: 901017W, sold separately

Confirm the original arm style and lock before installation. A storage lock does not replace the separate remote lock, awning roller lock or other required travel hardware. Close and secure the awning according to the manufacturer's instructions before driving.

Fiesta versus Fiesta HD travel locks

This black 901017 storage lock is listed for compatible standard Fiesta and Spirit manual awning hardware. Carefree's separate Fiesta HD parts list instead specifies the 901096HD travel-lock family, including the black 901096HDB. Do not assume the standard-Fiesta lock and HD lock are interchangeable; identify the installed arm generation and original MPN before ordering.
