Carefree 901000 Utility-Slot Awning Tie-Down Kit, Complete Set

Carefree 901000 provides a complete tie-down accessory set for compatible RV patio-awning roller tubes with an available utility slot. Its built-in attachment design helps secure an extended awning using ground anchors, adjustable straps and springs.

Manufacturer-listed kit contents

• Manufacturer part number: 901000
• Two corkscrew-style ground anchors
• Two tie-down straps
• Two anchor springs
• Two clear storage tubes

Fitment and safe use

Check that your roller tube has an appropriate utility slot before ordering; the kit should not be described as universal to every RV awning. Install the anchors in suitable ground and follow the Carefree instructions when adjusting strap tension. Tie-downs are supplemental restraints and do not make an extended awning safe in severe wind or storms. Retract the awning when weather conditions require it.

Before retracting the awning

Disconnect the ground-anchored straps and springs before rolling in the awning. If the awning has powered or automatic retraction, follow its operating instructions to prevent retraction while the restraints are connected. Carefree cautions in its restrained-awning accessory guidance that retracting with tie-downs attached can damage the awning.
