Carefree R00924BLK-A Black LH Rear Awning Spring, 18 ft 1 in–25 ft

Longer manual patio awnings need a different rear spring than the 8–18 ft models. Carefree R00924BLK-A is the black left-side assembly listed for awnings beginning at 18 ft 1 in.

Fitment and identification

• Manufacturer part number: R00924BLK-A
• Spring position: Left/rear (manufacturer rear-spring designation)
• Finish: black
• Manufacturer awning length group: 18 ft 1 in–25 ft
• Manual Carefree awning families referenced by the catalog: Spirit, Fiesta, Simplicity and Fulltimer; confirm the exact model's illustrated parts list before ordering
• Carefree's replacement bulletin lists this assembly as successor to R00924BLK for standard roller tubes

Compatibility notes

The longer R00924 spring must not be selected as a direct substitution for the shorter R00923 range solely because both are black. Carefree publications differ on certain utility-slot replacement suffixes; confirm the roller-slot configuration rather than assuming every earlier utility-slot spring is interchangeable. On some Simplicity configurations the manual specifies a mill-finish spring.

Spring assemblies are under stored tension. Follow the manufacturer's spring-replacement procedure or use a qualified RV service technician. This part does not replace a complete awning arm or roller tube.
