Carefree KB14862JV42 Ascent Black RV Slide-Out Awning

The Carefree KB14862JV42 Ascent is a covered, automatic RV slide-out awning that extends and retracts with the slide room. The low-profile black housing protects the rolled-up black vinyl canopy and helps keep rain and debris away from the slide-out roof.

Product specifications

• Manufacturer part number: KB14862JV42
• Series: Carefree Ascent with protective cover
• Manufacturer order-length code: 148
• Fabric width: Approximately 152 in based on Carefree sizing information
• Canopy: Solid black vinyl (colour code 62)
• Protective case: Black (colour code JV)
• Extension: 42 in
• Operation: Automatically follows slide-room movement; no separate patio-awning drive required

Fitment: Measure the slide-out roof and outer flange separately and match both dimensions to the applicable Carefree Ascent sizing chart before ordering. Published roof and flange ranges differ between catalog editions, so canopy width alone does not establish compatibility. The appropriate mounting bracket kit may need to be purchased separately. This is a slide-out cover, not a patio awning.
