Description
If the steering wheel transmits harsh feedback over rough pavement, the original steering damper may be part of the problem. Bilstein 33-174525 is a dedicated B8 5100 steering stabilizer, not a rear shock absorber.
This unit has a cantilever-style lower mount and a 12.7 mm eye at the opposite end. Match that mounting arrangement and the truck’s steering linkage; a shock with similar overall length is not automatically interchangeable.
