Description
External hydrocarbons can cause a diesel engine to run away at uncontrolled speed. During that emergency, E-PAS 1036765 stops intake airflow by closing the existing electronic throttle body. It resets after shutdown without a malfunction indicator light or trouble codes such as P0106.
Connection and removal
Factory-style plug-in connectors and a premade harness connect the unit. It can be removed for a lease return. An electronic module, wiring harness and mounting hardware are included; a solenoid is not.
Compatibility
Diesel applications: 2024–2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD; 2024–2025 Chevrolet Silverado 4500 HD/5500 HD.
