The front flip-up hinge raises three heavy-duty aluminum panels after two folds, with integrated prop rods holding them toward the cab for full bed access. Exact 2015–2022 Colorado/Canyon 5-foot applications specify 61.7- or 62.7-inch beds.
Accessory mounting and finish
The MX4 TS rails incorporate T-slots for compatible aftermarket racks, crossbars, cargo baskets, carriers and other accessories. A low profile sits flush with bed caps. Its matte-black specialty automotive finish resists scratches, dents and UV fading, while the hard panels resist pocketknife cuts compared with soft covers. Tailgate-handle locking and inside-rail clamps are specified. Allow an estimated half-hour installation; ladder racks are supported, while toolboxes and headache racks are not.
