Fit and mounting: CURT 40018 is a chrome-plated, 2-inch trailer ball for a matching 2-inch coupler, rated for up to 3,500 lb gross trailer weight. Its threaded shank is 3/4 inch in diameter and 2-1/8 inches long. CURT specifies 160 ft-lb mounting torque, a platform at least 3/8 inch thick, and a mounting hole no more than 1/16 inch wider than the shank. Hex nut and helical lock washer are included. Observe the lowest towing-system rating.
