Superlift 84022 Shadow Rear Shock Pack, Pair for Lifted GM

A lifted Silverado or Sierra requires rear shock length and valving selected for its specific suspension rather than a stock-height replacement. Superlift 84022 is a Shadow Series rear shock pack used in supported Chevrolet and GMC truck lift systems. Installation kit breakdowns identify two rear dampers under this numbered box, so it should not be described as an individual shock or as a complete suspension lift kit.

The Shadow series uses gas-charged damping with vehicle-oriented, velocity-sensitive valving to manage body motion over varying road surfaces. Many distributor applications associate 84022 with lifts in the 6 to 6.5-inch range, but the exact vehicle, drive configuration and other installed lift components matter. Cross-check the Superlift main kit number and the rear shock mounts before purchasing; supplementary lift hardware and brackets must match the existing build.
