Hull deposits, yellow buildup and alkali water rings are removed with an acid-based formula that can irritate skin. Wear protective gear, choose suitable equipment and follow proper disposal practices.
Haul the boat out and allow deposits to dry completely; above-waterline stains may be treated afloat. Apply to the dry hull with an all-plastic sprayer, a non-nylon roller or a brush. Reapply as needed to keep deposits wet and foaming, then rinse with water after about ten minutes of foaming. Heavy deposits may require additional applications and light scraping. Run fresh water through the sprayer before storing it.
