Description
Designed specifically for the Toyota Prius AWD-e, CURT 56439 adds a vehicle-side four-way flat trailer lighting plug for model years 2019–2022. Its T-connectors mate with the matching taillight wiring, and a powered converter prepares the lighting signals for a compatible trailer.

Connector & Installation Details
- Four-way flat connector supplies tail, brake and turn-signal lighting.
- Powered, circuit-protected converter uses SMT electronics, with a dust cover for the trailer plug.
- The vehicle battery must supply a separate power connection; included hardware provides a fuse holder and power lead.
- CURT specifies 6.0 amps for tail lights and 3.0 amps for turn/brake circuits.
