Description
Synchronized current and spark timing reduce heat buildup. The module also compensates for electronic delay by adjusting timing.
Product details
Ignitor II senses coil current and uses a microcontroller to vary dwell, maintaining peak energy throughout the RPM range. It develops up to four times the energy of standard ignition systems between 3000 and 5000 RPM. Using a Flame-Thrower II 0.6-ohm, 45000-volt coil improves high-RPM performance. For selected Ford distributor applications designated 57–74; verify complete model years.
