For Chevrolet headers, this pair of rectangular Ultra Seal gaskets can be trimmed to suit modified ports. The high-temperature expanded steel core supports torque retention and stability to prevent gasket failure, with strength that resists cracking. Graphite facing transfers heat away from the cylinder head and conforms to uneven or warped flanges. High recovery helps preserve the seal if clamping load drops. Intended uses include OE replacement, high-performance street, drag racing and oval track.
