Fully TIG-welded aluminum replaces the stock plastic unit. Internally strutted tubes strengthen the core against fatigue, and the mounting-bracket system has undergone vibration testing.
To improve heat dissipation, core volume is increased by 46% and fluid capacity by 23%. A built-in seven-row stacked-plate transmission cooler replaces the original tube-style design for towing, off-road use and heavier aftermarket equipment. A supplied magnetic drain plug collects debris.
