Description
CURT 81550 is a Grade 43 safety-latch clevis hook for 5/16-inch chain with a 3/4-inch hook opening and 3/8-inch clevis pin. Its 14,000 lb manufacturer rating is stated as gross trailer weight capacity, not as a separate rigging certification. Forged, heat-treated steel and yellow-zinc plating provide durability; a retaining latch, hook pin and cotter pin secure the connection. Match the chain, hook and tow vehicle attachment points to the required trailer rating.
