Load support can be adjusted by changing the air pressure in these coil-mounted helpers. The black urethane pair in Firestone 4176 runs at 5–35 PSI and has a 1,000-pound load rating.
Fitted inside the existing coils, the springs cushion axle-to-frame contact and absorb road shock. Variable-rate support helps maintain vehicle level, improve steering and braking, align headlights and limit tire wear as loads change.
The no-drill kit supplies mounting brackets and hardware, air springs, air line and individual manual-fill valves. It excludes compressor, bellows and roll plates; the installation estimate is one hour.
