Modified high-power engines are the intended use, with the heavy-duty hub supporting smooth street engagement. The diaphragm pressure plate provides a stated 1,349-pound clamp load and 199 ft-lb torque capacity. Its ductile material promotes burst strength at different temperatures, while the friction material resists slipping and fading.
The cover design is described as providing roughly 40 percent greater clamping than the original part. No alignment tool is supplied.
