Description
A separate amber backlight fills each optic as an accent, while the main white SS3 beam supplies an even 80-by-30-degree driving/flood spread. TIR optics focus the light and control glare, combining forward illumination with a wide field of view.
The pair mounts above the hood on vehicle-specific, low-profile hinge brackets using factory attachment points. No cutting or drilling is required, and the hood can still be raised and lowered normally. The included harness lets the backlight connect to the chosen vehicle function.
Each 3-by-3-inch light has a cast aluminum housing, polycarbonate lens and IP69K rating. The listed output is 5,796 lumens at 36 watts. Two ditch-light brackets, wiring and mounting hardware are supplied; full electrical details follow.
