Equip a compatible classic Jeep CJ-5 or CJ-7 with Crown Automotive’s 21-gallon plastic replacement tank kit. It provides additional fuel capacity where the original Jeep uses the supported 15-gallon rear-tank arrangement.
The exact manufacturer kit 8128585PLXL includes the sending unit, top strap, lock ring, O-ring and skid-plate extensions. Crown specifies that the larger tank hangs approximately four inches lower than the original, so underbody clearance requires special attention.
